Gear Review
Even more disappointed

Ranked #358 - Men's Technical Sandals
October 10, 2008
I previously wrote a review and now have more to add. While the sandal is steezy and 100% perfectly functional they just don't last. I've had mine for 2 months in Juneau Alaska kayaking, hiking, and rafting and they have already fallen apart and are unusable. sadness...

My 11 year old needs a new pair every year, but he wears his as much as possible. Whether he has on shorts, jeans, a swimsuit, or a suit, he will wear these as his first choice. It stinks that he's now in adult sizes, but he says that these sandals are really nice and comfortable, so I will keep buying them. I have had a pair of my own for over 4 years. They are great for hiking, walking, shopping, whatever. And because they're made to go into the water, they look as good as new. I love them, and have bought a pair for each member of my family. I'm just ready for a new color.

I have had my keens for 4 years now, lots of hiking and cliff jumping. They are still just like new

My husband has a pair that are almost 5 years old- he doesn't hike in them, but does often wear them for every-day shoes during the summer. They've held up very well for that type of use.

yeah, i've also noticed there's some longevity issues on the construction and sole of keen products. sorry, but they're comfy while they last...not as long as you'd want if you use them all the time.
