"Nathan Proton 2.0 Hydration Pack" - Review of La Sportiva Fireblade Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 By Karl Meltzer on October 7, 2008
During the entire Appalachian Assault Speed record attempt (2176 miles of rugged terrain), the Proton held up perfectly. The one pocket on the back and the two small "essentials" pockets on the front keep everything in line and accessible. This pack clings to the body like it's not even on you...even with a full 70oz bladder full. No chafing, no bouncing at all. It is also unique to refill. Instead of the standard "top fill spout" this pack opens from the inner side and is super convenient. No need to disturb other products in the pack. I typically run with a Nathan fanny pack, but after the AT run, the hydration pack is my new method of carrying fluids. You won't be dissappointed!
