Keeps you nice and cool in the heat,Is loose fitting enough to wear over a base layer when the temp drops.enourmous pockets with internal zipper are plus,Yes it did keep the bugs off me and i didnt have to grease up with repellent. wouldnt wear it for a night on the town but it will be my primary shirt for backpacking
