I had gotten the previous years model for Christmas and essentially worn them everyday since then (it being october now). I have used them for everyday wear mainly, but they see their fair share of gravel trails, single tracks and rough hikes. they have seen some 5.8s and 5.9s rock climbing too. overall, i have always liked salomons but these have not shown much wear or tear. the soles are the only thing getting worn really because the orange nubs on the bottom are only glued on. everything has held up pretty well with all the abuse i have put them through. the only drawback is the high price for them
