"A Tale of Two Halves" - Review of Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Micro Bib Bike Short - Men's

I've become a bib fan, and I've slowly been replacing my shorts with bibs as they wear out. I was anxious to try these bibs out since I have really liked my P.I. shorts. The shorts (bottom half) were as expected. Fit well, stayed put, good pad without the dreaded diaper feel. The bib (top half) was a disappointment. First, the fabric feels like cheese cloth. It is very scratchy. Not the feel that I'm looking for on a long ride. Second, the seam at the top of the shoulder straps was substantial. Not wide, but a big ridge. Again, could be a problem for a long ride. If Pearl Izumi changes the suspender portion of these bibs, I'll consider them, but until they do, they've only got one half of the equation correct.
