Primus Commuter Mug- The Ferrari of Coffee Mugs

By Backcountry.com Employee September 26, 2008

I have a lot of coffee mugs laying around my house and didnt really need another one, especially at $21.95. But one of my coworkers had one of these and after hearing him rave about it I thought Id give it a try. It was a solid purchase, this thing is superb Swiss engineering (although made in China). It keeps coffee warm forever and opens/closes with a reassuring *click* *thud*. I can juggle it when its full without it leaking a drop and it looks cool.

It´s not Swiss engineering. It´s very much Swedish.

Note: Primus has changed these since I wrote my review last year. They used to be stainless steel inside and out and a vacuum screw top. The new model is plastic inside and out and has a friction fit pop-on top.
