My feet really started hurting this year, just walking around my hardwood floors. I use the molokinis for indoor wearing and they have taken a lot of pressure off my feet. The center tab, being plastic and not fabric, really irritated me between my toes for the first couple of weeks, but my feet have accustomed and that spot no longer hurts. The pain relief on the soles of my feet has been notable.

Not sure about your comment that your Molokini's have a plastic center strip. I have several pair of the Molokini's and note of them have a plastic center strip.
