Bought these based on the reviews from this site. Very happy with all aspects of these these shoes, put on many trail miles right out of the box on steep rugged backcountry trails throughout wilderness trails in W.MT. Think they are comfortable and functional. Off to AK this week where they will get a workout again. Great trail shoes, happy to recommend them to anyone. Very happy I found this website, great gear at decent prices...let 'er rip! SM
