I'm using these as my mission gloves in Iraq, not for belaying. They're holding up well, and breath nicely. No sweat grabbing ability on the thumb since it's leather, but the back works OK for that. Compared to some of the super expensive "tactical" gloves I've used these are badass. Good price to boot.
