The first generation of the Vasque Velocity quickly became my favorite all-around show - for hiking, running, scrambling, pretty much everywhere but work. When they started showing up on sale, I bought as many pairs as I could but alas - the last pair finally bit the dust. I'm happy to report that this new version allevaitred my fears - the Velocity still rocks. The shoe is lighter and the fit is slightly more snug but they're still my go-to show for most conditions.
