Used this filter for 4 days and came home a little disapointed. Clean it often and boil it when you get home and it will work great. Though cleaning is not a real bother it would be nice not have to clean the element after everytime you pump. My brother was on the same trip and has the MSR Sweetwater filter and did not clean it the entire trip and it didn't seem to slow him down.
