"Lightweight TP" - Review of Mountain Hardwear Ultralamina 32 Sleeping Bag: 32 Degree Synthetic
Dont let the heading fool you, this bag is tough as steel and just about as thin and light as TP. In fact you can bury your head under it and see light come through, yet it holds true to its temp rating and is very warm. Took it Dall sheep hunting in the Brooks Range in Alaska in snow capped peaks of 6K feet and temps from 30F to 45F. Got the tall length and it had plenty of room to warm and dry socks/gear in the toebox. At 6'1'' and 210 lbs., this bag kept me toasty and only had to actually climb in mummy style one time on the trip when it got down to high 20F. This bag is a must for lightweight backpacker/hunters who need a warm synthetic bag with an absolutely unbeatable price. If I have to go again, this will be my wipe of choice for sure!!!!
