I was searching for a technical sweater or "shirt" and thought that the Marmot DriClime filled the bill. I like it a lot. It does what I think it was intended to do. It offers modest warmth and wind protection while being light and packable. It's very well made with good materials and finish. I like the styling (panels) except for the loose bottom which is more like a casual shirt than a sweater. I'd have preferred a slighly fitted bottom or an adjustable cord. I bought one for my son later and he likes his too and wears it as a zip-front shirt on cool days. Neither of us have tested it out in terms of its breathability and wicking as I have other gear for those pursuits but it seems that it would be ideal for those.
