"Recommended..." - Review of Julbo Dolgan Sunglasses - Spectron X4 Lens

...and the price is right. These glacier glasses are on the recommended equipment list for an upcoming skills seminar and summit attempt on Mt. Rainier. Although there are no instructions in the box (or online, so far as I could find), and contrary to the earlier review, the side shields ARE removeable. According to the manufacturer, the older model required removing the temple screws to remove the side shields; on the newer model (which I just bought here at Backcountry.com) they just pop out. It feels awkward removing them the first time, after just paying for a new pair of glasses, but you get used to it. The temples tend to widen with wear, so you might not want to relieve them too much when you first wear them...
