The Venture pant proved to be a wise purchase for my four day backpacking trip in the Gila Wilderness of N.M. It rained solidly for the first two days, but my Venture rainpants kept me dry and were breathable enough to be comfortable too. I ended up wearing them every night rain or shine because they provided cool weather insultation as well.
