I had high expectations for this bag but was very disappointed as I found it to be too deep to meet airline carry-on restrictions. I was forced to return it.

My husband travels for business using this carry-on bag (many destinations/multiple airlines) and he has never had a problem using this as a carry-on and placing it in the overhead bins. Do not hesitate to buy this bag for carry-on purposes--it's the best!

I've had this Eagle Creek bag for over three years. It is absolutely my #1 go-to bag for carry-on use. It fits easily in the overhead compartment of just about every large carrier aircraft. I'm surprised this poster said that it wouldn't! The wheels and frame are very balanced when loaded, and the pockets work extremely well with the Pack-It Cubes that are available from Eagle Creek as well. I'm from San Diego, take more than six trips a year, and have never had a problem with Eagle Creek luggage. For me, they are top notch!
