Meridian Convertible/non-convertible pants

I purchased both the convertible and non-convertible pairs of the Meridian pant. The fabric was great and the length was suprisingly not an issue this time. I'm 5' 11'' and finding an actual LONG is hard for outdoor wear. The problem with these was that they are not made for a girl with hips. Not everyone who is active outdoors is shaped like Kate Moss. Also, just because we like to be outdoors, doesn't mean we want to sacrifice our keen fashion sense. I don't want to buy my mothers pants. Something a little more low waisted would have been nice.
