Gear Review
Not what I had in mind and runs small

Ranked #689 - Women's Vests
June 2, 2008
My boyfriend owns the men's version of this vest and he suggested that I purchase the women's to wear as my primary "jacket" when I head to South Africa during their winter. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. Compared to his, the women's vest is not nearly as puffy or warm, and also ran small. The vest isn't bad, Patagonia makes great quality gear and I own a couple of other pieces, it just wasn't what I was looking for. I wish they would rename this jacket so that other women familiar with the men's equivalent could know that the two models are not one in the same.
