I designed my own "Dreamtime" Pad...Here is how. For the past 5 years I've used an inexpensive egg crate foamy, cut down to just larger than my regular 'ol MUCH less expensive Thermarest (which doesn't by itself provide enough comfort anymore for me as a 50 yr old!)
Stick the egg crate foamy under the Thermarest, a twin fitted sheet over the Thermarest if you want or a twin flat over both if you want and then presto...DREAMTIME on the cheap! You can use the Thermarest stuff sack that comes free with the less expensive model (at least it did years ago when I bought mine!) for the Thermarest mattress then...and two large plastic garbage bags for the foamy part with a piece of twine for transport. We long term campers have developed our own methods for creating comfort without the high price as we age!
