Great Mid-Weight

comfortable and stylish, great mid-weight jacket which I also bought to replace an older AK fleece which has seen a lot of wear. Although I bought this late in the season and have not taken it to the extremes, I can say that it works really well in mild, slightly rainy and cooler temperatures around town and outdoors. Seems to be relatively water-repellent, but I wouldn't expect it to work like Gore-Tex because it is not. Great for layering! the pit zips are a great added feature- and I especially like the zippers coming from both directions on this year's AK line. I prefer the taller collar- no hood. I also like the diagonally zippered chest pocket- easy access.
