Ranked #265 - Men's Shorts
April 18, 2008
If you have bought these shorts in the past and love them, take good care of the ones you have. I've got four pairs and I just bought two more. The two new ones have smaller front pockets( that I have trouble fitting my hands into), new belt design (that pops open) and are cut smaller (which means they don't fit). Why change a good thing? I can only hope they'll go back to the old style next season.

Funny. I asked a question recently about these shorts, then tried them on this week at a national competitor. Here is what I found, or is my opinion. I normaly would wear a XXL, but waay too big. XL is roomy enough. Having not purchased them YET, I have no way to know if the buckle will hold up, but does seem "better" than on my previous pairs of similar Columbia shorts. Which there is NOT comparison to the material and quality. Pockets seemed plenty deep up front. The slanted rear pockets are new to me, but very deep but may take getting some used to. All said, i think I will have to purchase these. They felt awesome on...Just the ticket.
