Big Agnes Two Track Pad - Mummy

I recently purchased the Big Agnes Zirkel sleeping bag and the two track mummy sleeping pad. I went with the 2 inch pad in hopes of being able to lower the overall comfort rating of my sleeping bag. Don't know if that worked or not. After using the sleeping pad one time in my backyard with my kids I will keep it over my closed cell foam pad that I have been using. One thing that I would advice is not to fill the pad all the way. Much too firm for me.....

He meant to say lower the temperature they would be comfortable at.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why anyone would want to lower the overall comfort rating of anything.
