"This is a great general use jacket!" - Review of The North Face Amplitude Triclimate Jacket - Men's
Pros: The jacket itself is awesome!
- There are enough pockets, vents, pull-strings, & wearable combinations to satisfy you throughout the year.
- Interchangeable lining with my Men’s Denali Fleece Hoodie, size Large.
- Haven’t hit ski trails yet, but outer shell is wind resistant, so this jacket will keep you warm.
- It is lightweight & strong. Great general use jacket!
Cons: Not many cons for this general purpose jacket.
- Jacket does not have a snow skirt, so won’t protect against downhill spill. However, does have pull-strings to tighten bottom of jacket to desirable size.
- Hood works great & detaches easily but don’t expect wonders. Its thin, so in winter don’t rely solely on it for warmth. However, it has two pull-strings to dilate it on your face & one on back of hood to tighten around ur scalp.
Ur getting a jacket with 3 in 1 functionality. Many jackets out there only provide 1 function, solely winter or a light jacket, & they cost as much, or more, as Amplitude Triclimate!
Winter = 3 months.
Fall + Winter + Spring = 9 months.
For under $200, would you rather use jacket for only 3 months out of the year, or 9 months out of the year? Definitely get more bang for your buck w/ this jacket!
