Gear Review
Inexpensive, but not worth it.

Ranked #439 - 55 to 30 Degree Down Bags
March 24, 2008
On the plus side, this bag is (relatively) inexpensive, light, and very packable. One the minus side, the 30 degree rating is a extremely optimistic; I think I'd be comfortable down to about 50 degrees in this bag. Holding the bag up to the light reveals that the down insulation is not very evenly distributed. The cut of the bag is slim and the foot box is too small for my tastes. I'll be shopping for a better 3-season backpacking bag.
