Ranked #2416 - Men's Technical Shells

First of all, this site is awesome with answering questions, shipping and returns.
As for the jacket, I was disappointed. This is a great fashion jacket but not a technical shell in my opinion. The Gore-Tex Pro material is a bonus at this price, especially now that it is being discounted by most retailers. However, it is heavy and does not pack very easily. The biggest complaints I have are regarding the hood design, lack of pit zips and poor quality zippers. The hood does not move as you turn your head and the brim does not extend far enough. Not having pit zips in a technical shell simply does not make sense, you definitely need them when the temp rises above 40F. And lastly, the main zipper is difficult to engage at times. I think North Face needs to redesign a lot of their garments. I will be returning this jacket and buying something from Outdoor research or Marmot.
