MSR WindPro Lives Up to Its Name

I am relatively new at backpacking, but was intrigued by the many positive reviews received by the MSR WindPro stove. It was one of the best gear investments I could have made.
I put the MSR WindPro to my own true test while camping in the blustery conditions of Lake Superior near Gooseberry Falls in Northern Minnesota. The MSR WindPro Stove comes with its own little windscreen. The windscreen folds up along with the stove, neatly into the little stuff bag, that is included with the purchase. There is ample room for an isobutane canister in the stuff bag, as well. The MSR WindPro's stability was proven, repeatedly, when I brewed coffee, and heated water in the extremely windy conditions off the lake shore.
Easy access to the flame adjustment knob without disturbing the pot, ample stability, and the Wind Shield make the MSR WindPro stove truly what its name implies.
