We bought this for our 23 lbs. one year old son to facilitate our hiking. It really has been a great pack! We are amazed at the comfort for the parent and the design for our child's seat must be comfortable too (we assume so since our kid can't talk...yet). This product has been a great tool for our child to get to know the outdoors.
