fogging beauty

iris x is a beatiful peace of gear. the frame is super light, flexible and easy on our face. you forget you are wearing one at the end of the long day. the field of vision is excellent, the lense gives good low light contracts and looks handsome. one problem -- it's a blue bird day goggle only. this january on a cold windy stormy day at alta and out in the backcountry, the goggles accumulated moisture on the inside of the lense, didn't vent well and the collected moisture froze up nearly instantenously. i had to stash them in the middle of the climb and pull out the good old proven oakley wisdoms. not as sexy, but not even a hint of the fog, even with the face mask on.
