Gear Review
Good jacket, poor fit.

I'm 5'10", 175 lbs., average-athletic build, and I got this jacket in size medium. My build is very average, so its unusual for something to fit me poorly. It felt like a combination of two things: the holes where the arms connect to the body of the jacket felt small, and the back of the jacket felt like it was cut too small, so that I had to stretch it when I reached forward. I unfortunately didn't read enough of the reviews to see the problem of the bunching in the armpits and the excessive roominess of the arms. It's because the arms were ample enough in the medium, that ordering a size up wouldn't have fit either. So I returned it. Aside from the size, it was very warm for such a thin jacket. Felt a little stiff and rubbery, but I'm guessing it just needed to be broken in. Water beaded off it excellently, and it was totally windproof.
