Ranked #1299 - Women's Winter Boots and Shoes

The Good Stuff: These boots are astoundingly warm -- no -- HOT! You really don't need heavy socks. They are also watertight and should last FOREVER no matter how much abuse they get. The down side for people like me with high arches is they are not so easy to get in and out of, little side zipper notwithstanding. I got a half size larger than usual to accommodate arch supports and this works out ok though it's snug. The boots are rigid and somewhat heavy, though as somebody else noted, you can walk fairly comfortably for some time. Think of it as a work out to tone your leg muscles! Your feet will be warm, guaranteed.
