Having now skied the EVO for fifteen days, I am happy to report that it's beginning to break in. Turns out, my initial report on the boot's sole being too stiff was premature. I am now enjoying the NTN/Crispi combination very much. My single remaining suggestion to Crispi would be to make a half-dollar-sized flat spot on the lugged sole where the NTN ski-brake is contacted. That would make it much easier to get the skis off after the NTN binding is opened. As it is, the ski-brake hangs up in the lugs on the bottom of the sole. Pretty minor complaint, I know...
