Great Backcountry ski
By Jeff Mikaelian
January 14, 2008
I finally got these in a 176cm and spent 3 days in the Wasatch backcountry on them.
They were excellent in all types of powder I encountered. The soft, big tip floated as if they were more like 100mm in the waist. And when paralleling they turned really fast and easy with all that sidecut.
These skis only weigh 6 1/2 pounds (according to the reveiw in Backcountry mag). And with the Voile Switchbacks, it's a great backcountry setup.
