Excellent Jacket

Great jacket that I wear with the Spyder Bormio ski pant. Blue jacket with black pants, women seem to notice. As usual Spyder has paid great attention to detail in its design and materials. The finest materials and hardware throughout. All the pockets you will ever need, nice goggle wipe on coil which you can anchor in any pocket of your choice, the usual pit zips and a nice hood that is removable. You stow the hood in a large zip pocket located on the lower back of jacket when not in use. The hood folds flat and doesn't protrude when put away, no one will know its there. Although the hood isn't insulated, it really cuts the wind and actually keeps my ears thawed when sitting on a lift. Important since I won't wear a hat. Off the lift, off the hood. It stays out of your way any won't flap around when skiing. Should fit any helmet. The jacket is well insulated, warm without the bulk. Breathes quite well. I wear a Patagonia base and 1/4 zip shirt under jacket and am set in single digit temps. Fit and cut is wonderful, doesn't get in way of skiing at all. You know it's waterproof. A fine jacket that will make you look good on any mountain.
