Item #TNF0552 | 188 in Stock
4 Star Rating

bottom line; its a good jacket

By Ranked #115 - Men's Ski Jackets December 7, 2007

For what is it, its a good jacket. It's warm you wont freeze it in, i wear short sleeve tee's year round so thats something i want. My problem is the collar, its way for high and unless you zip it up it will look stupid. The off center zips make it even worse. I know it was suppoed to be like that and its fine if you like it but i dont. Buy it if your not in school because unless you have a locker you'll be with this all day. After every class you have to zip it up because like it said it looks stupid of you dont. Then take it off again. This is a pain in the ass. I actually like the buckle because its a wide jacket. The only problem is the collar. The steep tech agency and dolo are similar style wise so look into those. If your not in school then i guess this wouldnt be a bad choice because you wont have to worry about taking it off and putting it back on 10 times a day. Its hot and would be hotter if they made this same thing without the collar

Write your comment here...this jacket wasnt made for school! the collar is perfect sitting on the chair in a screaming windstorm or sitting out a blizzard on the side of the mountain. get a nice soft sweater for school....leave this one for what it was made for. I've got one thats 16 years old, had one zipper replaced and still my go to coat.

This review my sixteen year old self wrote after owning the jacket for a few days is quite shameful lol! After owning for nearly 2 years now i'v come to fully appreciate the collar and also folding it down when needed. I live in New York and our winter isn't that horrible so it does keep me warm in 30-40 degrees weather but i sometimes still have the need to wear a sweater. The collar does WONDERS on those cold windy days and is even better when worn with a scarf. This jacket has gotten VERY common here in NY almost every other person has it these days and thats the only(well apart from the price tag...) real fault i can find in it. If you're someone buying this for normal every day wear i honestly have to say it isn't the warmest around so if you don't mind adding on an extra layer(granted you're not like me, someone who wear tee's in winter) of clothing you'll love it. So start saving up while this may break the bank buying I personally recommend based on looks alone, it really is quite stylish!

Another Urban Styler....my God!!! This is an ALPINE EXTREME PIECE OF GEAR!!!! This is Gear, not jus clothes. This is Alpine SNOWSPORT Gear!!! If you have to take it off and put it in a locker, it was not made for you. If you cry about collar, you have not skied UTAH POWDER!!! Please Urban Styler, just love the style. We don't need your review of its function, you don't understand its function. Why because it is GEAR first, and fashion last.
