The Synergy Jacket is the perfect combination of breathe-ability and warmth. I regularly go hiking in the winter and this jacket goes right along with me and looks great to just wear as an overcoat around town. For really cold days it's perfect under a waterproof shell to create an awesome non-bulky winter coat. Definitely worth purchasing.
