Gear Review
Urban Hydration

Ranked #498 - Hydration Packs - Small
November 28, 2007
I used this pack for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, which is 39.3 miles of urban trek from Manhattan to Brooklyn and into Jersey, and was actually gnarlier than any real hike I'd ever done. This pack was the perfect size for it as I could refill every few miles. The removable internal bladder makes it easy to fill even from gatorade coolers and the extra pockets help carry small gear that nedded to come along. The mesh back pad kept the sweat to a minimum even when it was scorching out. The bite valve never dripped. If only it prevented blisters and swelling. Good buy.
