"I want matching pants ..." - Review of Marmot Mountain Down Jacket - Women's

I love my Mountain Down Jacket so much I want to marry it, however the laws of New Zealand prohibit me from doing so. I'm 5'8" and 65kg, so I went for a size small, which fits me well. It is a decent length unlike many I've tried on, and is the warmest jacket I've ever worn. The hood does up so tightly, even in gale force winds I'm toasty warm. Quality of construction is excellent; seems to have tonnes of fill and lofts more than any 650-fill jacket I've seen. Been caught in heavy rain several times and no leakage. Has a double front zip so you can unzip it a bit from the bottom when sitting down to stop it riding up. Makes me look like a supermodel. It arrived surprisingly quickly, perhaps it was sent on a recommissioned Concorde. One of my criteria was knowing the geese were not cruelly live-plucked, and according to Marmot, these geese weren't so that's great. Things I would change if I could: two inside chest pockets instead of one so I don't look lopsided with everything stuffed in one side (not that you can tell, really, as it's nice and squishy). It has nice soft lining around the collar; this would be good around the cuffs too. A peak on the hood. But you can't have everything. I was concerned that this wouldn't be worth the not insignificant price tag, but all in all I'm stoked, this jacket really does meet my expectations. Also great, prompt and friendly service from the staff; I would definitely recommend.
