A rain jacket my daughter will wear. She is enrolled in a wilderness program and refused all other jackets because they made too much noise. The Resolve is flexible enough (not that stiff rubbery fabric) to be quiet, as well as non-restrictive. You can add plenty of layers and still retain great range of motion - she can leap over logs and still stay dry. Yes, in addition to being quiet it is also water repellent! We would definitely buy it again!
