Ranked #521 - Midweight Sleep Pads
March 8, 2004
"Can one pad be light in the pack, cushy under your backside, and insulating in cold weather? Our Southwest editor says yes after she used the Max Thermo on a late fall trip to the Grand Canyon. It's smaller when stuffed than a loaf of bread and more than 2 inches thick when inflated, and the six separate air tubes are filled with fine synthetic fibers that add warmth for near-freezing nights. For an air mat, it's easy to blow up."
