Ranked #1641 - Men's Ski Pants
September 24, 2007
I got these for xmas last year, sight unseen because they looked good on "paper" and were one of the only hardshell bib pants that come in something other than black. Durability is a huge issue with these pants, as others have mentioned. I noticed it the second I picked them up. The outer fabric is thin and feels flimsy to the touch. Not nearly as burly as the Theta SK (for example). On my first backcountry trip in these pants, they ripped in the seat on the first rock I sat on. Marmot refused to warranty the repair and charged me 40 bucks to fix it. At least they reinforced the seat with Cordura for me. All in all, I had high hopes for these pants, and feel like they haven't lived up to expectations.
