These hip pads are a great product overall. I mean if you really fall hard on your ass, it's still gonna hurt...nothing can prevent that. But it will cushion and absorb many blows, so you will only feel a little pain. The material used to make this is really nice, it doesn't make you sweat, and lastly, it wont make you look like a fat ass by bulking of your pants. I say it's the best ass pads out there for riders..
