Ranked #2888 - Men's Ski Jackets
February 10, 2004
I recently purchased the Mountain Hardwear Men's Recon jacket. This jacket rocks! I recently donned it for a jaunt to the summit of Angel's Landing in Mt. Zion National Park on a cold, blustery day. With nothing more than a hot chilly's top underneath the Recon jacket, it proved more than necessary in retaining my body heat and breaking the wind. The hood was a life saver as well, given the blustery conditions near the top. This jacket is an extremely nice fitting, functional shell. The pit zips are a fantastic feature that I have grown accustomed to with my other MHW products. I plan on using it next month for snow shoeing and skiing activities in Colorado. I highly recommend this product.
