Satisfied Cynic

Ranked #372 - Men's Water Shoes
June 26, 2007
These were my first sneaker style amphibious shoe and I was cynical as to how well they would perform. My main concern was how much they would weigh me down in an emergency swimming situation and I was pleased that I could swim well enough while wearing them. They shed dirt and water even better than expected and the insoles are great. Sand can be a bit uncomfortable but that's no shock and it is bearable. These shoes are very light and cool and are surprisingly comfortable, way better than my sandals.
Finally, the Boa system was odd at first but I found them great for easily adjusting the tightness as needed. I found that adjusting them after ten minutes of movement re-situated the shoe perfectly. All in all I am very pleased after my first four or five uses and am now considering investing in some Boa system snowboard boots as tying mine now, well sucks...
