Ranked #1970 - Men's Trail Run Shoes
June 20, 2007
I found the shoe to have ample cushoning and support. In comparison to other Salomon trail runners that I've tried, the shoe itself felt stiffer and was more supportive about the ankle. The shoe feels well built and rugged. It can be slightly difficult to get in and out of the built in gator, but after a few tries, I quickly got the hang of it. Quick lacking system works well and the straps tuck into the gaitor leaving one free from tangling/untying laces. The shoes have a very streamline look and feel. I'm not quite sure how they would hold up on extended adventure races, as I've only used them on several 10+ mile trails, but they appear to be as durable as any other trail running shoe that I've come across.
