Gear Review
Good mid-layer, not water resistant

This jacket is essentially a high-tech flannel shirt. Overall a decent item, if a bit pricey for its function. Would be better if it had some kind of water resistance.
It is a good standalone when there is no chance of rain or a layering item under something waterproof/resistant. It soaks up water like a sponge, but does dry quickly and you don't feel clammy. It looks cool, too, much more stylish than an old flannel. The wool also makes it functional over a wide temperature range. I appreciate the length in the arms and torso. I'm 6'2", 190lbs, and a large fits great. It does say it is cut large to allow for shrinkage. Haven't washed it yet.
