K2 Mod X Is Great

The "catalog" description of this ski does not do justice to its incredible versatility. It rocks off-piste, blasts through crud, and bounces through powder. It's fine on the pack, but if all you ski is groomies, this ski is not for you. It really shines when you take it off the beaten path. I mounted it with the new Diamir Freeride bindings, and do a lot of hiking/randonnee with it, including two weeks guided off-piste skiing in France and Switzerland every year, and though a little heavy, this is the best ski I've used yet. A good choice if you don't want to haul around two or three pairs of skis.
