Gear Review
Seems like solid construction, but be wary of cut.

Ranked #2000 - Men's Rain Jackets

Let me preface this review by saying that I will not be discussing the actual performance of this coat. Nevertheless, construction and especially the seams and zippers seem to be very well made and I would have expected this coat to have been extremely good at keeping me dry.
I purchased this and found the cut completely wrong for what I wanted. It is an EXTREMELY tight fitting and athletic coat, forget about being able to layer much of anything under it. I ordered size large (I usually wear large, but do fit in medium sometimes), and just found the fit to be problematic. I do think the coat would have performed well as a pure lightweight rain shell when hiking in warm conditions. But it is not versatile at all (as I like my stuff to be). Forget about wearing it over a mid layer when conditions get colder and I also would worry about breathability (tags only rated it at 4000 mm) and it does not have any sort of vents or a reversible zipper.
The athletic fit also makes it completely wrong to wear for anything resembling everyday use (which I had hoped to call on it for walking my dog in the rain and what not in addition to hiking and biking).
Again, not necessarily a bad coat, just make sure you know what you are getting!
