Practical yet stylish. And the material (some new-fangled name that's as good as Gore-Tex, but has a different patent) is lighter than my old Gore-Tex rain jacket. However, it's truly about the cut, the length, and all the well-placed pockets. It's nice to not always feel like you're putting on your hiking jacket just 'cause it's raining. This coat is a bargain for its price!
