Gear Review
roomy bag=not so warm
By mBoulder
Ranked #805 - 25 to 5 Degree Down Bags
May 10, 2007
I used this bag w/the dual core insulated pad. It's rated as a 15 degree bag, but where I was never dipped below 37 degrees at night (according to weather underground) and unless I was wearing long underwear, including socks, I was cold. Not underneath, thanks to the sleeping pad,or on the sides, but on top. Remember, girls (& guys?) that mummy bags are designed that way to be efficient. When I was appropriately dressed, however, I appreciated the non-constricting shape.
