Gear Review
Convenience of a fanny pack, capacity of a daypack

Fanny packs are user friendly; by pulling them around into "belly pack" position, you can access the contents while still wearing the pack. But most of them lack the capacity to store those extra layers you want to shed as the day warms up. Not this one; in daypack mode it will swallow up a fleece jacket and vest with room to spare.
And it has pouches for water bottles. Light but well made. No complaints.
